Our Team - Valencia Davis

My name is Valencia Davis. I鈥檓 excited to join the Kanis Child Development Center team as a teacher. I鈥檓 currently a senior Early Childhood Education major at Chicago State University, and I鈥檝e spent the past three years working with and teaching diverse learners, including students with special needs.

In addition to my classroom experience, I鈥檝e also served in several leadership roles on campus, including Student Government Association President and now IBHE Student Representative, where I advocate for student voices across Illinois.

I鈥檓 passionate about creating inclusive, engaging learning environments for young children, and I鈥檓 also studying for the LSAT as I prepare to pursue a career in education policy. My ultimate goal is to help shape policies that make a lasting, positive impact on students and families.

I鈥檓 really looking forward to learning, growing, and collaborating with you all this year!
