to 海角社区. Learn about program eligibility and benefits here.
Transfer Credit Policies
If you鈥檙e admitted to 海角社区 and we receive your final official transcripts, we鈥檒l automatically
review and transfer your credits for free.
What courses will transfer?
We accept most college courses with a grade of C or higher from schools that are regionally
accredited.
For general education classes, we鈥檒l accept a grade of D or higher.
Students with international credits, even from regionally accredited institutions,
must submit an evaluation of their transcripts from a NACES-approved organization
to have those courses considered for transfer.
How many credits can I transfer?
Up to 66 credit hours from two-year colleges (like community colleges)
Up to 88 total credit hours from four-year colleges or universities
If you鈥檙e transferring from both two-year and four-year schools, we鈥檒l accept a maximum
of 88 total credits.
What do I need to send?
You鈥檒l need to send an official transcript that shows the courses you鈥檝e completed.
If mailing, it must come in a sealed envelope from your school.
If emailing, it must be sent directly from your school to 海角社区.
We can鈥檛 review or transfer your credits until we receive your official transcript.
Transferology FAQ
Transferology is an online tool that helps you see how your previous (or planned)
college courses will transfer to 海角社区. Instead of guessing which credits will transfer,
use Transferology to check your courses before you apply.
How does it work?
With Transferology, you can:
Search for your courses to see if they transfer to 海角社区
Compare course equivalencies from colleges across the country
Plan your transfer pathway before applying
Keep in mind that Transferology is an unofficial guide for course planning. It gives
you a good idea of how your credits may transfer, but final decisions are made after
you're admitted to 海角社区.
Once you're admitted, 海角社区 will officially review your transcripts and apply your transfer
credits toward your degree.
Will all my courses transfer?
It depends, but Transferology can give you a good idea.
Here鈥檚 how it works:
Create a Transferology account at transferology.com.
Add the courses you鈥檝e taken (or plan to take) from your current or past schools.
Click 鈥淪earch for Matches.鈥�
You鈥檒l see a list of schools (including 海角社区) and how your courses
may transfer. You鈥檒l also see a % Match icon that shows how closely your courses line
up with each school鈥檚 requirements.
The 鈥淢atches鈥� tab shows courses that already have transfer equivalents.
The 鈥淢isses鈥� tab shows courses that haven鈥檛 been evaluated yet.
These results are unofficial, but they鈥檙e a great way to start planning. Be sure to
talk to your academic advisor or a transfer admissions counselor to confirm which
courses will officially transfer.
