Call for the Development Team

Finding the Right Development Partner

Over summer 2025, 海角社区 will issue a Call for Developers to support the first phase of the 95^th Street Economic Development plan. 海角社区鈥檚 first phase seeks a mixed-use, student- and community-serving development along 95th Street supporting student housing and commercial space.

This work is led by CBRE who was hired as a qualified Project Advisor to support the first phase of the 95^th Street Revitalization Project. Following an open and competitive review process, CBRE was selected based on their strong track record in higher education real estate strategy, deep experience managing public-private partnership (P3) development processes, and their national reach combined with local understanding.

Call for Developers Timeline

• Release Developer Call for Firms (July)
• Marketing and outreach to attract proposals (July鈥揂ugust)
• Review and evaluate proposals and shortlist finalists (September)
• Conduct interviews and negotiations with top candidates (October)
• Select a preferred development partner and prepare for agreement execution (November)
• Execute Developer Implementation (December)
